LLM Research Papers: The 2025 List (January to June)

This article presents a hand-curated, topic-organized list of over 200 LLM research papers from January to June 2025. The list is designed for timely, bi-yearly updates and categorized into key themes for easy navigation. Primary categories include Reasoning Models (covering training, inference-time strategies, and evaluation), other Reinforcement Learning methods, efficient training, multimodal models, and data. A substantial focus is placed on Reasoning Models, especially training approaches involving reinforcement learning. The author intends to discuss more impactful papers from this collection in future, topic-specific articles.
